CHANGELOG

What’s new in Analytics.

Every improvement, release by release. Questions or ideas? Open a ticket or email support@5h3ll.site.

Newest first
  1. Website icons imported automatically

    • New

      Your website’s own icon

When you add a website, Analytics now fetches its icon from the site itself and shows it in the website list, the toolbar and the live view. Existing websites get their icons automatically the next time you open your dashboard, and the icon is refreshed if you change the domain.

  2. A Free plan, and shorter page titles

You can now install Analytics and learn the product for free, and upgrade whenever you are ready.

    • New

      Free plan

One website, 2,000 events and 2,000 crawler visits a month, with 30 days of reports and no card required. Core analytics, goals, funnels, journeys, live activity and crawler tracking are included. Revenue attribution, AI agent access and team invitations are on paid plans, and Free shows a small Analytics by 5H3LL mark on the live view.

    • New

Usage alerts and a clear upgrade path

You will see a notice at 80% and again at 100% of your Free events or crawler visits, with an upgrade button. At the event limit collection pauses until the 1st (UTC) and your reports stay available.

    • Improved

A clear refund policy for paid plans

Every first paid-plan payment has a full refund within 14 days if you are unhappy, no questions asked. The pricing page, FAQ, docs and refund policy now say so plainly.

    • Improved

Shorter page titles in search results

Long page titles across guides, comparisons and the crawler directory are now short enough to show in full, with the brand at the end.

  3. Clearer AI referral examples and a shorter home title

    • Improved

Shorter homepage title for search results

The homepage title is now short enough to show in full in search results, with the brand at the end.

      Thanks to @chikuos_hq.

    • Improved

Multi-touch example on the AI referrals page

A new example follows one visitor from ChatGPT, back through Google, to a payment, and says which visit gets the credit and why: the most recent visit from a known source.

      Thanks to @aroido_bigcat.

    • Improved

      Clearer note on missing referrers

The AI referrals page now says that links you control can carry UTM tags so their source is named, and that a visit or payment with no referrer is never given a guessed source.

    • Improved

Unattributed payment shown in the AI referrals example

The example now shows a payment with an unknown source next to the ChatGPT payment, so you can see how missing referrers appear: still counted as revenue, shown as not attributed, never as zero.

      Thanks to @aroido_bigcat.

  4. A new look, a new website, and built-in support

The whole app has been redesigned, the public website now has its own pages, and you can open support tickets without leaving Analytics.

    • New

      Redesigned dashboard and app shell

A persistent sidebar, clearer toolbars, loading placeholders, Light, Dark and System themes, and a tidier Websites page with plan usage meters.

    • New

      Settings split into tabs

General, Install & goals, Revenue, Privacy & consent, Team and AI agents, instead of one very long page. Existing #payments and #team links still work.

    • New

      Crawler tracking

See which AI assistants, search engines and training bots request your pages, which pages they read and which return errors. Verified against each operator’s published IP ranges, with a Cloudflare Worker snippet to get started. Crawler visits have their own monthly allowance on every plan.

    • New

      Crawler directory

A public reference of 30 AI crawlers and search bots with their user agents, what they are for and how to verify them.

    • New

      Free link builder

Build tagged links for X, Reddit, newsletters, partners and QR codes, so each post shows by name in the Campaign tab. Available publicly and inside Settings.

    • New

      Learn guides

Twelve practical guides on finding which channels, pages and countries earn money, with step-by-step setup.

    • New

      Documentation

Guides for installing the script, goals, consent, revenue attribution, crawler tracking and the API, with search and an on-this-page index.

    • New

      Support tickets

Open a ticket from the Support page and get replies in the app and by email. Closed tickets are deleted after 12 months.

    • New

Features, AI referrals, Integrations, Pricing and FAQ pages

The public website is now split into pages, with product screenshots, a plan comparison table and a searchable FAQ.

    • New

Data Processing Agreement and updated legal documents

New Privacy Policy and Terms of Service under UK law, plus a Data Processing Agreement for visitor data collected on your websites.

    • New

      Agent connection hub

A fuller guide to connecting Grok Bot, Cursor, OpenClaw, Hermes, Claude and Grok, with the setup command for each.

    • Improved

      Live view works on phones

The map now comes first on small screens, with Details and Live activity as collapsible panels, safe-area spacing and larger touch targets.

    • Improved

      Clearer cookie banner

A wider, roomier layout on desktop and a compact layout on phones that no longer covers the page’s buttons.

    • Improved

      Accessibility and readability

Better colour contrast, labelled form fields, keyboard-friendly tabs and code blocks, and larger small text.

    • Fixed

      Sidebar height

The sidebar now stays the full height of the screen while you scroll.

  5. Teams, agents and revenue attribution

Share websites with teammates, connect AI agents, and attribute revenue from your own Stripe account.

    • New

      Shared websites with roles

Invite teammates as Viewers or Editors at no extra seat charge. The owner’s plan covers usage.

    • New

      OAuth agent onboarding

Approve an AI agent in your browser to read aggregate reports for the websites you choose. No API key to copy.

    • New

      Your own Stripe revenue attribution

Connect a restricted read-only Stripe key and webhook to credit payments to the visit that brought the customer, with consent-aware checkout metadata.

    • New

      Local source icons

Referrer icons for AI assistants and social sites are now served from our own domain.

  6. Plans, consent tools and Founder Lifetime

    • New

      Usage plans

Starter, Indie and Growth plans with website and monthly event allowances, and a limited Founder Lifetime offer.

    • New

      Consent tools

Generate a consent banner or connect your own consent manager so the tracker only loads after analytics consent.

    • New

      Consent-gated analytics for this site

Our own site analytics now run only after you accept optional cookies.

    • Improved

      Clearer empty revenue journeys

Empty revenue views link straight to payment setup for your provider.

    • Fixed

      Update card stacking

The app update card no longer sits above the footer and cookie settings.

  7. Installable app and the launch of Analytics by 5H3LL

    • New

      Installable web app

Install the dashboard on your phone or desktop. Updates apply quietly, and the offline page never caches private data.

    • New

      Hosted accounts and billing

Sign in with Google, GitHub or an email link, manage your plan in the billing portal, and see usage.

    • New

      Live globe

See every visitor on your site right now on a 3D globe or flat map, with a live feed of pageviews, goals and payments.

  8. Smarter payment matching

    • Improved

Better matching when many visitors reach checkout

Payments are linked to the right visitor more reliably, including when checkout metadata is empty.

    • Improved

      Checkout links tagged on load

The tracker tags checkout links as the page loads so other click trackers cannot drop the metadata.

  9. Hardening and setup help

    • New

      Copy AI setup prompt

Each website’s settings include a prompt your coding assistant can use to install tracking in your project.

    • Fixed

      Date range menu

The date range dropdown is no longer clipped or invisible.

  10. First release

Revenue-first web analytics on Cloudflare Workers and D1.

Track button clicks and custom goals, build funnels and follow each paying visitor from first visit to payment.
