A focused analytics option for independent SaaS teams
If your main question is which campaigns lead to customers, compare a smaller reporting workflow with the wider platforms you are considering.
A Google Analytics alternative for solo founders
Google Analytics supports events, reporting APIs and BigQuery export. If you need that ecosystem, evaluate it on those strengths. If your immediate work is a campaign review, 5H3LL offers sources, goals and optional verified payment attribution in a focused web dashboard.
This is not an assertion that Google Analytics cannot report revenue. Your choice depends on how much implementation and reporting work you want to own.
A simpler alternative to a full PostHog stack
PostHog documents product analytics, session replay, feature flags, experiments and other products. That breadth can be valuable to a product team. 5H3LL does not replace that whole stack: it does not offer session recordings, feature flags or an experimentation engine.
Use 5H3LL when your required workflow is web acquisition and conversion reporting; keep broader tools where their additional functions are part of your work.
Plausible alternatives with revenue tracking
Plausible already documents ecommerce revenue tracking through monetary custom events. Do not choose between products on the assumption that it only counts pageviews. Compare its event-based implementation with our native Stripe or Dodo payment connection and server API.
Our own browser tracking uses first-party cookies. If your requirement is cookie-free collection, that is a meaningful trade-off to consider rather than a feature we claim to provide.
Evaluate the switch on your own data
Write down the conversion definition, consent settings, payment flow and reporting window. Test a small installation alongside the existing tool, then reconcile observed payments and understand count differences before replacing anything. Historical report import is not currently automated.
